Oh yeah - I'm 14 now! And I have a really bad something. Great way to enter 14 years! Oh well, at least I also entered 14 with multicolored nails. :P Well, my sickness is better then it was - baruch Hashem.
Oh yeah, and I got my first bee sting. KILLED. Now it's itchy. And remember how somebody said someone is on the market? Well, our bunk made that up about bee stings:

Actually, they were hornet stings - somebody stepped on the hive and a ton of people got stings. Thank G-d I only got one.

So here's my hashgacha pratis story for the day. I decided to do something exciting with my kids, so we headed out to the petshop to buy some goldfish. (I know that doesn't sound too thrilling to you guys, but it means a lot to kids under seven...)
The first store we went to didn't sell pets, only pet supplies. No problem, though-- we were right across the street from Walmart. As I drove into the Walmart parking lot, my six year old asked me where we'd keep the fish.
"In our fish bowl," I said.
"It broke," he replied.
"We'll have to figure something out," I said, and headed towards a parking spot. It was a great spot, close to the doors, but I almost didn't pull into it because there was something at the end of the spot.
I looked again, and, believe it or not, it was---
A fish tank.
Yup, a 20 gallon fish tank, brand new, abandoned in the parking lot at Walmart! Right next to my car! We get to keep it, too, since there's no way to identify the owner, and it doesn't belong to the store anymore.
So howdayya like that, guys? Hashem loves us a lot, even down to little stuff like fish tanks...

if ur nervous or unexcited for the new year - which is quite normal and expected - make sure to ask Hashem to help make the adjustment easier for u... and even pleasant and enjoyable (imagine that!)
He's waiting to hear from you... and can do absolutely anything.
